Kleshas

Kleshas are structural defects of the mind. We are all born with them and we cannot get rid of them. The aim of yoga is to be aware and understand when and why we are acting from our kleshas. With this awareness we can divert our thinking and rise above our kleshas. The more awareness you cultivate, the faster you will catch yourself thinking from one of these realms. With practice, the strength of your kleshas will reduce and you will think from a more compassionate and balanced space.

Avidya - Ignorance
